Oakwood Premier Joy~Nostalg Center Manila is a long name so I will just call it Oakwood Hotel. Though they call themselves "serviced apartments." Me and my family stayed there for a night at a three-bedroom suite. We were very pleased with our stay there and the suite is just awesome.

We all knew Oakwood because there was one in Makati before called Oakwood Premier Ayala Center. But it closed down in November 2006 and turned into what is now the Ascott Residence Trust of Singapore. Oakwood in Pasig is new and just formally opened on September 9, 2009. It occupies 28 floors of the 41-storey Joy~Nostalg Center and has 223-units. It was built by Jacinto Ng, owner of Republic Biscuit Corporation (Rebisco) and Asia United Bank (AUB).
The Three Bedroom Suite
When we entered the suite, we automatically loved it. The place is very new and the interior is very minimalist and modern. The living room or sala is spacious with a 40-inch high-definition flat-screen television with surround sound speakers. It also has a DVD player that you can attach your USB hard drives or flash drives to play movies.

The suite has a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with a very modern design. Everything you'll need to cook is there. They even give you complementary mineral waters. The dining area is placed across the kitchen and is big enough to fit 10 people.

The rooms are huge. In our suite, the master's room had a king size bed with a couch, flat-screen television and its own restroom. The second room also had a king-size bed with its own restroom and flat-screen television. And the last room had a twin single beds with its own restroom.

They even had a washer and dryer room with a small restroom and bed for maids or helpers.

The suite is also equipped with high-speed broadband Internet access. You can also see a wonderful view of Ortigas.

Oakwood Premier has a huge pool and a jacuzzi.So better bring your swim wears.

We ordered room service for our breakfast and it was prepared nicely. Nothing special but it tasted great.

Overall
I really love Oakwood Premier. I would go back here and recommend this place. Very affordable and feels like your own home.

We know someone who works at Asia United Bank. A.U.B. employees were given special discounts so stayed at a Three-bedroom suite for almost half the actual price.
