Got to travel to Hong Kong and Macau! This is our full itinerary for Hong Kong and Macau. We weren't able to go to all that were listed but nevertheless the trip was great. Notice that we arrived at Macau and also departed at Macau. That was one of our mistakes. We had no choice because it was already booked with Cebu Pacific. So we decided to go to Hong Kong upon landing to Macau. Because we would be departing at Macau, it was best to be in Macau for the last day, just to be sure that we won't miss our flight in Macau. This wasted half of our day because of the hotel transfers and ferry rides. It would have been better if one of our flights were in Hong Kong.
We went to Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park. The two theme parks are well known and a must visit when you go to Hong Kong. We also toured to the Peak and visited Madame Tussauds' wax museum there. It was a bit expensive but it was worth it. The rest of the trip we just walked around Hong Kong and went shopping. We weren't able to go to Lantau Island because it was too far and we haven't got the time anymore.
At Macau we went hotel hopping, visited museums and heritage sites. All hotels are a must see and each one has its own special attraction or feature.
