Aficionado Anniversary Concert at the Mall of Asia

Aficionado did not held back when they celebrated their 1@11 anniversary concert at the Mall of Asia concert grounds. They got some of the most well known local artists endorsing their products and performed at the concert. One of their latest endorser is Charice Pempengco who is now an internationally known singer and a cast member of the hit series Glee.

The concert mainly focused on Gary Valenciano, Charice and John Lloyd Cruz, who are the latest endorsers of Aficionado and of course Joel Cruz, who owns Aficionado. Other celebrity endorsers present were Ejay Falcon, Jason Abalos, Erich Gonzales, Ronnie Liang and Pauleen Luna. The University of Santo Tomas Symphony Orchestra and Kamikazee also performed at the concert. There was also a fashion show which featured the designs of Joel Cruz himself.

Aside from marketing the Aficionado brand, the concert also wants to establish Joel Cruz himself as a brand. Joel Cruz had his grand entrance by fitting inside the number "1" you see in the middle and it was slowly raised up.

Gary V always gives a high energy performance in his concerts. Though he always sings the same thing over and over, I still enjoy watching him and singing along his songs.

When Charice came out, the crowd went wild. She wore big eyeglasses which looked like her character Sunshine Corazon in Glee. She and Gary performed together. She also sang her hit song  "Pyramid” and some other songs like California Girl, Bad Romance and Falling In Love.

John Lloyd Cruz entrance was the best when he went on stage with a mini cooper and performed with sexy dancers. Kamikazee was last to perform.
