SM Mall of Asia Christmas Winter Wonderland

SM Mall of Asia has one of the best Christmas celebrations. They had the SM Christmas Winter Wonderland in their grand atrium where tourists and mall goers had a real snowy winter experience.

Shishi Pedestrian Street Mall

Shishi Pedestrian Street Mall is a big residential and commercial project in Shishi City. It is a city on its own with 6 storey residential buildings each having its own commercial spaces. It has lots of shops offering both local and international brands. It also has a number of locally known restaurants.

Roppongi Hills and Mori Art Museum

After our Tokyo Morning Tour, we were dropped at Ginza District. But all the shops at Ginza was closed on January 1st so as advised by our tour guide, we went to Roppongi Hills. Our tour guide said that Roppongi Hills is most likely open, and it was. Roppongi Hills is like the Ayala compound in Makati where we have several interconnected malls like Glorietta and Greenbelt.

Visiting Ginza on New Year

We were dropped at Ginza District at the end of our Tokyo Morning Tour. Funny thing was that it's January 1st so all the shops were closed. So we weren't really able to shop anything at Ginza. We just walked around and "window shopped."

Waiting for the New Year at Odaiba

Few hours to go before the New Year, so I was looking for a place to hang out. I assumed that every city has a countdown event to celebrate the coming new year. I asked some Japanese where I can go, and they all pointed out to Odaiba. They said that "young people" go there to celebrate the new year. So we we went to Odaiba.

Shopping Malls I Like in Singapore

Got to Travel to shopping areas of Singapore! Honestly I'm not a fan of shopping. But I do appreciate the malls in Singapore. The best place to shop for me is in Orchard Road. Grand Central Hotel, which is the hotel we are staying in is located at Orchard Road, so it was convenient for us to walk and shop their. If you love to shop better check in a hotel along Orchard Road. There are so many shopping malls there that it will take you few days to finish all of them.

Suntec City and Esplanade Theatre, Singapore

Got to travel to Suntec City and Esplanade Theatre! Suntec City is not as good as the malls in Orchard Road but still big though. Suntec City is surrounded by a number of malls like Raffles City, Marina Square, Esplanade Mall and others. Every building is interconnected underground so it's very convenient to transfer from one mall to the other.
