Gilak by Hossein serve a mix of Persian, Arabic and Indian cuisines. Though not really a fan of such dishes we still tried it out. It is a bit pricey compared to other Persian restaurants so I had high hopes that I would be satisfied. Sadly I was not.

I have no complaints with the interior, ambiance nor the service. But I did find the food just "ok". Which is not enough considering the price of the food. Maybe the food we ordered wasn't the most expensive but even the cheapest on their menu should taste better than ok. Because their cheapest is not actually cheap. I can't remember the exact dishes we ordered by I think it was a rotti, chicken kebad and beef kebab.

Arya, with similar dishes offer cheaper and tastier food for me. And if ever you have a craving for Persian food, I suggest going to Arya instead. Unless of course you want a fine dining atmosphere for a date then you can try Gilak.
