History

Midas Hotel is located at the former Hyatt Hotel along Roxas Boulevard, now transformed into the Midas Hotel and Casino which opened last April 2011. The hotel is now owned and operated by the Genesis Group. They started on April with a soft opening with only deluxe rooms to offer. They steadily added services like the Midas Cafe and the Hotel Pool until they are fully operational.

Location and Proximity

Midas Hotel stands at Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, which is an ideal location with a great view of Manila Bay. The hotel is few minutes away from Philippine international and domestic airports.

Interior

The lobby was not that big but still spacious. The interior and furniture are very luxurious.

Midas Hotel loves to use mirrors. The lobby elevators are filled with mirrors and gives off a great illusion.

As far as I remember, in Greek mythology Midas was the one who can turn anything into gold with one touch. You'll definitely see lots of gold in the hotel, the elevator for example.
