History
IHOP also known as "The International House of Pancakes", is a American restaurant chain first opened on 1958. It specializes in breakfast foods and also offers menu of lunch and dinner. The word "international" back then did not mean that IHOP had branches across the world, but it is because it offers different styles of pancakes from around the world. IHOP is available at more than 1,500 locations in the west, but not only until August of 2012 it opened its first branch overseas, specifically in Dubai.

IHOP, The Fort opened last February 15, 2013. It is the first IHOP branch in the Asia Pacific region. It is through partnership with InterDine Corp. and DineEquity, Inc., the parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP Restaurants. InterDine Corp. will open 20 IHOP restaurants in the next five years. The expansion in the Philippines creates an opportunity for the brand to go to neighboring Asia Pacific countries like Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. InterDine Corp. is a subsidiary of Global Restaurant Concepts, Inc. which was the one who brought CPK-California Pizza Kitchen, Morelli’s Gelato, etc. in the Philippines.
IHOP Menu
We arrived at IHOP BGC around 10pm on a Saturday night and the place is jam-packed. We listed our name and we were still number 40! After 30 minutes of waiting and constant followups at the reception area, we managed to get a table. Luckily we were just two people so we were spared the long wait. Some waited even longer, specially larger groups.

Interior
Loved that the restaurant has its own building. Actually its the same building where CPK-California Pizza Kitchen is located. Half of the first floor and the whole 3rd floor goes to IHOP and the rest CPK. It has centralized air conditioning and a huge stairway which is very convenient going up.
Inside IHOP  BGC
They don't have elevators but they do have few tables at the first floor which is great for diners who has elderly or disabled companions.
IHOP Stairs
The cozy interior reminds me of CPK but a bit brighter lighting. Maybe its because of the chairs. The tables are very spacious and comfortable to dine.

Food
I ordered their breakfast sampler with regular pancakes. I upgraded the regular pancakes to their best seller New York Cheesecake Pancakes.
Breakfast Sampler with Upgraded Pancake
Love their hash-brown. Bacon not greasy. Ham and sausage tasted ok but nothing special though. I did see lots of people ordering chicken and some friends said that their crepes are to die for.
Breakfast Sampler
Found their pancakes tasted great but it was hard to eat with a fork since it gets easily shredded or breaks apart. Not an expert but maybe too much or lacks egg?

Every table has it own set of pancake syrups.
Pancake Syrups
They have four flavors, Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Blueberry and Old Fashioned (Maple).

For their beverages, they have your usual sodas and "splashers" (Php175) which has two flavors; Splashberry and Tropical Island Twist, I was going to order the latter but they already run out. They also have The Never Empty Coffee Pot (P125 per person) which is a bottomless coffee drink, available either in regular or decaf.

Overall
Food can't say yet, need to try more. Atmosphere is great and their staff are very very accommodating. Even though they were jam packed with clients on their opening week, they kept their cool and delivered 5 star service. Kudos. Definitely going back here and their future branches.
